An Aufxcapital ‘Account Upgrade’ That Drained a Retirement Pot — and the 54% We Clawed Back

What happened

A Leeds client near retirement was talked into ‘upgrading’ her Aufxcapital account again and again, each upgrade promising to unlock a withdrawal that never came. My Aufxcapital dossier records the same pattern reported by others.

What I did

Part of her money had moved by bank transfer and part by Bitcoin. I raised an evidenced reimbursement claim with her bank for the transfers, and traced the Bitcoin to an exchange off-ramp where a timely hold recovered the rest of what was reachable. We acted before the trail could cool, which is the single biggest reason the figure was 54% and not a fraction of that.

No Recovery Guarantees

Outcomes depend on blockchain finality, jurisdiction, and third-party cooperation. Anyone promising instant, guaranteed recovery up-front, in crypto, without written terms — should be treated as a follow-up scam.
